Sometimes we have to face the tragedies in life head-on. They can seem to be overwhelming but we can come out strong. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who gives us the strength we need to remain steadfast, focused, and immovable. These times of challenges are always for a purpose. Many times those around us are watching and we must maintain our Christian stand. Be encouraged in your Faith during these times. It shall pass. God knows all about it. God knows all about you and what you are faced with. He knows how to set you free and He will if you seek Him diligently.
Jesus is Lord. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Be filled with power from on high. When Jesus ascended into Heaven He left the Comforter to be with us. For Acts 13:52 says, “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” There is pleasure in doing the Will of the Father and being able to pray for others not knowing anything about them or the situation. In Ephesians chapter six we are not to wrestle with flesh and blood nor are we to be distracted. Instead, we are to pray with all manner of prayer for the saints. As it says in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” This therefore will allow the Holy Spirit to flow and the Word to go forth!
Sometimes we go through things and don’t understand the full meaning until it’s all over. We have to trust our minds and souls completely to God’s care. Knowing He is there every step of the way – means as small children we are walking. We are growing every day. Each new morning holds a new meaning. He continues to expand our imagination and sparks our knowing evermore.
If we fall down, we have to get back up again. Oh, the pains in growing big and strong for Him. At first, falling down seems like a crushing blow. However, later it turns into just a scratch that we can handle because we know it will heal in time. Right before our eyes, He heals us. He makes us clean. He makes us better.
We don’t always know how. We don’t always know the why. Sometimes the what with is missing too. Clue less He leaves the room! In time though, He returns and says, “My child, Come to Me.”
God wants you to be His. Completely belonging to Him in His kingdom means allowing the things of the past to slip away. Let all the darkness just go! You will not miss any of it in the future that is so bright. Enter into the wonderful Life that Jesus has for you. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. He will be your Best Friend forever. Get hold of His Word. The Bible is Truth.
The world is passing away and is a stench in the nostrils of God. We are called away to be with God. We are His. We are supposed to be set apart for His use in these last and final days. So, be full of the power of God! Keep reading here to learn how. God loves you.
I am pleased you’ve been drawn to my website. I trust you will enjoy the poetry from my heart and my uplifting words. I have come through a lot in this life and it has only been because of my Savior and Best Friend Jesus that I’ve come out the other side! Maybe, you’ll be helped too?
I have made three altars in my life. Each time it was necessary to purge the flesh and gain more Spirit with wisdom from God. He supplies liberally to all who just ask Him in the heart. The mind will follow if you just take the time to repent because we’re all sinners indeed. Some of us have made more of a mess of ourselves than others but don’t compare yourself to others! No. Just look up to Heaven for Jesus. He reigns supreme. Walk diligently after Him and see.
It’s like wearing glasses for the first time. You never knew that you needed Jesus until He comes right on into your mess. This life is gross sometimes! Even if you “think:” Well, Nicole, I’ve got it all together. My duckies are in a row. You can’t touch me! Well, then what have you been searching for? What about that sin? What about that black hole in your heart? Ever wonder why you cannot love people just all the way or all day?
Come, reason together with me, and see Jesus will meet you where you are. Right now in whatever state you are — literally or figuratively. He is here. He wants you as His own. He died for you. You can become His right now. Just pray with me: “Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe you came to earth as a man, died for my sins, and ascended into Heaven lies on the third day. Please forgive me once and for all. Help me in this life with all I do. Amen.”
Now, once you’ve put your glasses on raise your hands to Heaven and thank Jesus. Yes, right now where you are just worship Jesus and He will help you. That’s what this is about His helping you. You will find the darkness turned to light. Follow the light right on through just like keeping a flashlight charged so the batteries won’t run down. So find a friend who Loves Jesus to ask him or her what to do or where they go to church. Yes, I said the “c” word. Deep down, you know it’s right — follow after Him hotly!! (Never mind what “others” may think.) Got it? Okay, continue to walk in the light one day at a time.
Psalm 23
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Lord the Shepherd of His People
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me on the path of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
I grew up with trees like this and to me, they symbolize my relationship with my Heavenly Father. It is a very strong and enduring part of my life. No experience anywhere has been able to compare to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There have been times and difficulties come when I was “estranged” from the Lord but I always came back to Him and we were always closer than ever before. If you are feeling “lost” then look for your big tree and find strength. Cry out to the Lord in whatever situation you find yourself in and He will Help you!
Psalm 121
New King James Version (NKJV)
God the Help of Those Who Seek Him
A Song of Ascents.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills–
from whence comes my help?
My help comes from the
LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to
be moved:
He who keeps you will not
slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor
sleep.
The LORD is your keeper.
The LORD is your shade at
your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by
day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve you
from all evil.
He shall preserve your soul.
The LORD shall preserve your
going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even
forevermore.
“My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
Psalm 45:1 (NKJV)
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
1 Corinthians 15:55 (NKJV)
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon,
and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—”
